Modern laptops ship with one or two USB-C ports and nothing else. That means no HDMI, no SD card slot, no Ethernet, and no USB-A for your mouse or drive. This 8-in-1 USB-C Hub solves all of that with a single connection — turning one USB-C port into eight working ports simultaneously.
No drivers. No configuration. Plug it in and every port works immediately on Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Android, and Linux.
What You Get — All 8 Ports
| Port | Specification |

| USB-C PD | Power Delivery up to 100W — charges your laptop at full speed while using all other ports |
| Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) | Wired internet up to 1000 Mbps — more stable than Wi-Fi for calls, uploads, and remote work |
| USB 3.0 × 2 | Data transfer up to 5Gbps — for external SSDs, flash drives, and hard drives |
| USB 2.0 × 1 | For keyboards, mice, and low-power peripherals |

Where This Hub Gets Used in Kenya
Office and remote work setups — Connect a monitor via HDMI, plug into the office Ethernet port, charge your laptop via PD, and still have USB ports free for a mouse and flash drive. One hub replaces four separate adapters.
Presentations and classrooms — MacBook Air and newer Dell XPS models have no HDMI port. This hub connects directly to any projector or classroom display via HDMI without carrying a separate adapter for each venue.
Photography and content work — Transfer SD card photos to your laptop while the laptop charges and stays connected to Ethernet. No waiting for Wi-Fi transfers or swapping cables between tasks.
Students — University computer labs and lecture halls in Nairobi typically use HDMI projectors and wired Ethernet. This hub covers both from a single USB-C port on any modern laptop or iPad Pro.
Compatible Devices
- MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (USB-C and Thunderbolt 3/4)
- Dell XPS 13/15, HP Spectre, Lenovo ThinkPad X1
- iPad Pro (USB-C models, 2018 and later)
- Samsung Galaxy S and Tab series (USB-C)
- Chromebook, Steam Deck, and any USB-C device
Does not work with: USB-A only laptops (older machines without a USB-C port), iPhone Lightning ports, or iPad models with a Lightning connector.
What This Hub Is NOT For
- 4K at 60Hz video — HDMI output is 4K at 30Hz. For 60Hz at 4K, you need a Thunderbolt 4 hub or a DisplayPort connection.
- Simultaneous SD and TF card use — SD and MicroSD slots work one at a time, not simultaneously.
- USB-A only computers — This hub requires a USB-C host port to function. It does not convert USB-A to USB-C.
Common Questions
Can I charge my laptop and use HDMI at the same time?
Yes. The USB-C PD port handles charging independently. You can run HDMI to a monitor, connect Ethernet, use both USB 3.0 ports, and charge your laptop simultaneously — all eight ports work at once.
Will it work with my MacBook Air M1 or M2?
Yes. MacBook Air M1 and M2 both have USB-C / Thunderbolt ports. This hub is fully compatible. HDMI will output at 4K 30Hz. For 4K 60Hz on a MacBook, you need Apple’s dedicated multiport adapter.
Does it work with an iPad Pro?
Yes — iPad Pro models from 2018 onward use USB-C. This hub connects directly. Note that iPadOS has limitations on some USB peripherals depending on the connected app and iPadOS version.
How stable is the Ethernet connection?
Gigabit Ethernet on this hub is handled by a dedicated chipset, not shared with USB bandwidth. You get a stable, full-speed wired connection up to 1000 Mbps independently of what’s running on the other ports.
Is it compatible with Safaricom or Zuku fiber routers?
Yes. The RJ45 Ethernet port works with any standard router or LAN port — Safaricom, Zuku, Faiba, Telkom, or any ISP providing a wired connection. Use a standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable between the router and the hub.
